The annual Perseid meteor shower [aka debris from comet Swift-Tuttle] which is about to cascade across the Heavens*, seems perfectly timed to celebrate the first food grown and consumed on the Space Station.

The astronauts ate a lettuce and chortled that it was ‘one small bite for a man, one giant leaf for mankind’.

They said it tasted akin to Arugula – what Brits call Rocket. Is it coz I is Swedish or do you find that far, far [‘way] funnier, too?
